When I first saw Alexander Wang's fall line back in February
I was disappointed I will be honest. I only saw the runway
shots, and I wasn't thrilled by how the show was styled. The
pieces themselves are beautiful, but I was turned off by the
final product. I finally went back to check out the website
just now, and lesson learned, I will never pass judgment
from a runway show again. The inspirations video for the
fall line features the XX Infinity Fluffronix remix....enough
said. You guys know I love dubstep and for a designer like
him to support definitely makes me have major respect.
The video below
Here are the inspiration shots. Love the lace velvet jacket,
Then I had to go back and review the runway shots and there
really are beautiful pieces in there. The man killed it with
velvet... in a great way...here are some that stood out...
Love the pants, but the styling of the upper half is weak in
I know I am probably behind on this, and many of you have
seen the video already, but I had to share. It really won me
over, and lesson learned...everyone deserves a second chance.
It just got confirmed I am going back to Buenos Aires this
winter, and it will be summer down there, so I won't freeze
my but off like last time. I know most of you did not click on
the links to see the insane clothing for some of the
company's I mentioned in the last post so here are looks
that stood out to me.
Click Trosman for more....Incredible detailing....
Click AY NOT DEAD for more
I hate to say its like a cross between American Apparel and
Top Shop..basics and cute looks..but it kind of is. This is
their spring/summer line, south of the equator the seasons
are different, in case you were not aware...but I hope

Also their SS'10 collection
I am feeling these Proenza Shouler/ J Brand inspiration
Anyways, I'm bringing empty suitcases.....
wut are they? All the different nail duo's I have had over
the past year or so. I was looking through my iphoto and
noticed there are a lot of random shots of my hands, and
then noticed all the crazy nail colors and combination's I
have sported. I would say my nail duo's are something I
am known for among my friends, I always have something
It started in Spring/summer of 09 when I started wearing
turqiose and teal colors, I fell in love with Greenport by
Esse...then that color, among other light teal's were all
over the fall 09 issue's of magazines...I swear I don't plan
those things, they're just a coincidence
I had to be different then all the magazines of course... and
also I loved Greenport but I had to change it up, I could not
look at that color on my nails alone anymore. Thus the first
nail duo was born...Esse-Greenport and OPI-Lincoln Park
after Dark. I rept it all fall/ winter and even into spring
I started this summer with mint greens and dark oranges
Then I experimented with hunter green and mint green....
hunter green will definitely be the main color for my fall
winter duo's, it's my new staple color, I can't get enough.
Jade is the new Black by OPI, cool green color but it looks
better on my friend Denica
wut is your nail duo..?
